PODERICK’S POST

You may remember my announcement in the summer that Lady Podiva was ‘with cub’…. well we have some exciting news – it’s twins!

Fun Fact about bears: Some bears can get ‘half pregnant’ in the summer. Essentially, the egg is fertilized and develops into a small embryo called a blastocyst. It then floats around the uterus for months before it implants. And it’s common for there to be two cubs!

Lady P has been busy nesting … just look at this den she has built in Pod Park!

Not long now until the tiny patter of many pads – expected this winter, some time after Christmas!
